Mission Statement

The Australian Callers Federation (ACF) operates within Australia as a federation of Square Dance callers and their organisations. It provides leadership and coordination in its role as a national body. It is governed by a constitution, and a board elected by the member associations and the caller members. It is a non profit organisation directing all its resources however derived to its operation and to the pursuit of its aims.

The aims of the ACF are...

To operate as a national square dance caller organisation.
To be active in all phases of promoting square dancing.
To standardise square dance teaching, calling,and caller training.
To cooperate and cooordinate with other square dancing organisations.
To set standards to which callers may aspire.
To recommend caller standards which should apply when programming callers for national square dance conventions.
